Other Gamma Mission Ideas

Base Evacuation:
A nearby base is about to be overrun by Federate Troops. Intel suspects that there are important supplies stored in this base that we cannot afford to lose. Get to the base before the invasion begins, warn the control tower and evacuate the base. Move all of the base forces and supplies safely to a well-fortified base in the region approximately 21 geomets away. It's imperative that we reach the base before the Federates do because then we'll have to fight them too.

Staging Area Massacre:
Our satellites have recently discovered a large cluster of powerful enemy bots nearby in what appears to be a staging area. We are unaware of what these bots will be used for, so it's important that we destroy them before they take action.

Hostile Takeover:
Some of our leaders have been captured by the federates during a failed attempt of transferring them to a new base. The federates are currently holding them hostage in a nearby facility and will kill them if their demands are not meant. This is not allowed. Take your squad to this base, fight your way through the perimeter, recover the leaders and bring them back to the base. Since this mission is very critical, we are equipping you with one of our special lieutenants, which will provide your squad with extra shield deflection.

Research Facility Investigation:
A mysterious research facility has been discovered nearby. We think the federates may be using this facility to develop new weapons. If this is the case, the facility will need to be eliminated. Take your squad to this base and inspect the premises. If it is in fact a research facility, you will be ordered to take it out and bring back any experimental weapons you can recover for testing. Be warned: The fed's are conducting many types of experiments in this region with new equipment, so it's important to proceed with caution.

CyCarrier In Danger:
One of our CyCarrier's was returning to base earlier today but ran into an energy storm which has disrupted their power cores, grounding them in one spot and leaving them vulnerable to enemy attack. Your mission is to form a blockade around this quarantined area until and hold back any enemy forces until the storm subsides. Don't venture too close to the crash site or your bots will be grounded too.

The 'plot' bit sounds good for most of them, although for the satellite thing enemies would have to be tanks - Feds are human and have no bots (that's the difference between us and them :p).

However there's a problem with all the mrp the missions would accrue...max AI would have to be increased ofc, but already there is a lack of things to upgrade on most bots by ai 40, so lots of new equipment will have to be added to keep up with the exp earnings with more mrp/longer set.

For Hostile Takeover: lieutenant could be an advanced cyseer with over 100% proj and give not just shield def but all-round stats.

Also, something requiring a tidbit of thinking can be added, i.e. you have a certain amount of hours (different for each leader) and a certain amount of geomets to reach them (also different for each leader) before they are killed so you have to work out which ones to rescue first (also to decide if one is too far away to be worth the mrp or something like that).

Another mission idea: Provide cover for a secret peace meeting between the feds and cycorps. However, some factions of both sides wish to keep the war going, and send troops to eliminate everyone involved. You have to fight both feds and Cycorps units to protect the minister.
Or, work it the other way around i.e renegade cycorps/feds are planning peace, but you are sent to make sure it doesn't succeed.

The max AI of bots should be increased to 100 and the exchange rate of mrp>exp should be increased in Gamma.
