Another Gamma Idea

Instead of keeping feds/renegades as enemies in this sector, there should be another side introduced. Someone will have to come up with a name for it, but it would make this sector more interesting because we would have to learn their strengths and weaknesses. To make it even more difficult, these three factions could all combine their technology together to make some very interesting results. So basically each squad you fight would contain a variety of chassis from each faction. Don't know how that sounds, but it's definitely something to think about.

Guerrillas have received funding from a secret source and are now much more stronger, leaving the ruins and coming out to play; depending on align, you can do guerrilla missions or be part of a task force sent to stop their attacks, so that there is a point to having negative guerrilla align.

We haven't really discussed that topic yet but it does need to be brought up. It could be activated at a certain point in the game (like skyfall, super tanks, termi, etc) and require controllers to take a side:
a) side with guerrillas and enforce the attack (positive align)
b) attack guerrillas and prevent the attack (negative align)

Then if plan A was successful, the guerrillas would be able to release more stronger troops and if plan B was successful, the guerrillas would be destroyed and sent back to where they came from. We could also have it so a certain number of guerrilla squads are released and keep track of how many there are in cycom.

____ has successfully destroyed one of the Guerrilla forces in the alpha (or gamma) sector. 10 squads remain.

or

____ has successfully defended a squad of Guerrilla forces. The Guerrillas only need to break free 10 more squads before they can call in reinforcements.

Add on some ideas if you think of them.
